Regular visitors to the site will have noticed a distinct slowdown in our content delivery in recent months. Time and economic constraints have seen our reviews move over to the wonderful Juno Daily site, and our creative juices have been poured into the new label arm of Cosmic Tiger.

Behind the scenes, though, we’re still as industrious as ever. Another thing that won’t have escaped the attention of our readers is the esteem in which we hold the wonderful fellows behind Hell Yeah! Recordings and their Buena Onda event and compilation offshoot.

Brothers behind the music Marco Gallerani and Gallo recently recorded an exceptionally beautiful mix to mark the imminent arrival of their latest Buena Onda ‘Balearic Beats 2021’ album and sampler, and we’re thrilled to host it for them here. As ever, the Italian-based label (with Japanese roots) span genres as they mine cosmic depths to present a dazzling selection of blissfully refined tunes on the new compilation. A sprinkling of exclusives from the collection are included in the mix they’ve supplied — amounting to a glorious reflection of their tireless commitment to irresistibly refined sonics.
